Seafarers of Catan Expansion Accessories

When you look at the Seafarers board layout compared to the standard Settlers board, the Seafarers board is much bigger. The board shape also changed between the first to third editions of Seafarers compared to the fourth edition.

The top image to the right is the first to third edition (1E-3E) Seafarers board layout. Note that the right and left ends are square. This makes it difficult to expand the base board to have square ends. Though my A and B expanders you can fit all the 1E-3E scenarios on my board. The second image is the fourth edition (4E) Seafarers board layout. Notice how the right and left ends are not square, they are hex shaped. My Settlers board is split into 4 pieces for storage and transport. It expands along one of the joints to add the Settlers 5-6 player expansion pieces. If you expand it along the other joint, it is the same basic shape as the Seafarers 4E board.

The third image shows my Hex Board Style 1 with a single hex B Expansion Board (B1). The Hex Board Style 1 expands by one, two, three, four or more hexes. This is accomplished with single hex expander and double hex expanders. My Hex Board Style 1 has two hexes at the fare left and right that are not used in the Seafarers board.
